After finding out the article about Gong Tae-sung and Oh Han-byul, Han-byul’s teammates make sure to take it down before it goes viral but they start gossiping among themselves. They think that Tae-sung still likes Han-byul, judging from his behaviour around her but they also leave the option of them secretly dating open. They wonder if Han-byul and Tae-sung act like they hate each other only to hide the fact that they are actually dating. However, they report the article to Han-byul and she gets pissed off because nothing has been going right since Tae-sung came back from Africa.
Tae-sung still believes that Han-byul sent him to Africa purposefully but Han-byul says that it was him who wanted to go and it was his mistake. Tae-sung is more upset with the fact that Han-byul didn’t try to contact him even once to which Han-byul replies that they do not have the kind of relationship where they can contact each other personally for no reason. Her reply upsets Tae-sung and he leaves the office. He doesn’t show up at the office the next neither pick up Han-byul’s calls. Han-byul’s colleagues are still keeping an eye on them and they wonder if Han-byul and Tae-sung have had a fight.

Park Ho-young has been trying to scout a young man into her agency. The young man runs a restaurant but more than his tasty food, he is popular for his good looks. When Ho-young saw him for the first time, she knew that he is born to be an actor. She tries to convince the young man but he is not ready to accept her offer. Ho-young goes to her boss and asks him how he scouted Gong Tae-sung who was known to be a difficult person to get signed.
When Ho-young’s boss was in his early days as a manager, scouting Tae-sung was one of his biggest achievements. He spotted Tae-sung in his high school and when he gave him his business card, he found out that he had been visited by many other managers and had a bunch of other cards. Tae-sung was a top student in high school and didn’t have an interest in being an actor at all. He even warned the manager to stop following him or he will report him to the police as a stalker. However, he doesn’t tell how he convinced Tae-sung and calls it his business secret.
Shooting Stars Episode 3 Ending
One of Ho-young’s actors has collapsed after finishing his drama which raises the concern about the actors’ and employees’ health. Hence, everyone from the Starforce entertainment has been told to take a stress test. The collapsed actor and his manager get a stress score of 90 and are advised to go through the therapy. Han-byul gets a score of 75 and has been given a warning. Everyone has taken the test but the company’s top star, Gong Tae-sung refuses to do so.
Han-byul tricks Tae-sung into doing the test by playing a challenge. She challenges him that if his stress test score is less than hers, he will have to do anything that she says. Tae-sung counter challenges her that she won’t get a paycheck for three months if his score is high. At Tae-sung’s fan sign event, his manager asks Han-byul to look after their bags and while keeping them neatly, Tae-sung’s stress scoresheet falls out. Tae-sung’s stress score is 100 which is alerting and also means that Han-byul has lost the challenge. Is Tae-sung really that stressed or did he manipulate the test just to win the challenge?
Shooting Stars Episode 3 Review
Shooting Stars Episode 3 shifts its focus from Tae-sung and Han-byul to other managers and their actors. The process behind getting an actor a role is much more tedious than how it looks. Managers take equal efforts to find their actors a good role as much as the actors make an effort to play that role. The work environment here is very positive as it focuses on artists and employees’ health more than overworking them.
